Didn’t Ford partner with them for aftermarket parts? Also that thing absolutely ripped on the trail. So refreshing to see someone actually testing it and not going over a couple of pebbles and saying ‘well the Rubicon is better!’
Ford has been partnered with Vaughn through his RTR line. RTR is aimed to be more of the dealer purchasable, middle grade, parts. Vaughn and Loren have teamed up to create the Fun Haver product line, which is the more serious offroader, high grade parts.

The bronco takes the cake on design and on road handling. If I’m going into the rocks it will be in a wrangler. A stock TJ rubicon can do exactly what that modified bronco did. JS
Haha. Lots of jeep folk fixing to be humbled and lose the only defense they had against the Bronco. Maybe jeep will find another market where they are the only game in town and can be the best again. Bet they could make a vaccum suck better than anyone else.

You are stating the obvious. No one off roads their rig with oem tires.
The KO2's on the standard Badlands are decent tires. In not a huge fan of them but they are durable.

They are decent but for the video shown here you want e rated tires that can take a beating to the side walls

The KO2's on the standard Badlands are decent tires. In not a huge fan of them but they are durable.

I like the Trail Turn part. Loren tries to "rotate" on the top of the rock before climbing, but not quite enough rock and slides off the side. No problem, hit the rear locker and continue on. 😁

After the part where he starts to mash the rear fender flare on the rock, he gets out and I hear him say, I thought I would catch the rock with the tire before I got the flare, just not over far enough. ;)

Props to Funhaver. That’s amazing what they did.

A few things:
  • CV angles look pretty gnarly sitting there. Time will tell.
  • Axle gearing? I’m guessing they dropped some deeper gears in there.
  • Stock components in the axles? They did some pretty good stuff for 37’s they looked plenty aired down. Now the undercut, tire hopping and full-lock reverse was at a minimum. Selectable lockers will go a long way in saving the drive components
The inner driver CV boot might be weeping grease.
Couldn't be 100% certain, but suspect.

Bronco checks all the boxes. Can do anything a Jeep can, but with smoother ride... except park on another Bronco's tire, still easy decision.

Did you catch that wicked gas tank skid plate action at 34:30? I guess OEM will be OK because he rotated the whole vehicle on it. 🤯

there’s zero evidence in this video of the bronco outperforming a 4 door jeep with suspension and lockers.
Being humbled would mean it did better and it did not

Was just referring to the smashed tailpipe.
That is why you don't worry about buying fancy exhaust if you are going to be doing ledges & rocks ;)

Kept up with an admittedly pure aftermarket jeep in the rocks, and no one disputes the jeep could be better anywhere else. The whole video is evidence. Watch it again.
