Gas Tank Door / Lid Not Opening

Anyone else having this issue?

The lid to the area where you fill the tank (is there an official name for this part?) no longer opens easily. I have to dig in there with my finger to open the lid. Obviously, it's not detrimental or super serious, just rather annoying. I put a video for reference. I'm assuming this is easy to fix?

It used to just open by gently pushing on it. Is there a part missing?

It looks like the part that's inside the door broke off and fell in.
