You're doing it wrong. If you have a wife that adorns herself in glittered garb, your goal should be to see how much glitter you can embed in that seat. Too bad the seats don't recline like in the F-150.

They sure don’t but the top comes off and the rear seats fold down. Notice I never said anything about glitter sticking to the cargo area…it comes right out.

Also, the rear crossbar provided excellent stability when drilling down to the root of the problem.

Two things to try, one is using a solvent or fabric softener to loosen the fibers and then vacuum.

Another option is a cleaning gel/putty

Next time its a skirt up ride.

A soft bristle attachment from an indoor vacuum used with your shop vac (or indoor vac if different size hose) works well to gently agitate seats and carpet.
