Awesome post..... I almost fell out of my chair...rendering:
final product:
Buddy has a Model Y, it's hardly maintenance free. You even have to change the differential oil. They are fun, faster than ICE, and cost $0 to maintain.
Everyone's experience will be different...for every car...look at this forum as an example. My MY experience is very different from your friend's. Over 57K miles on my 2020, changed 2 flat tires due to nails and changed the last 2 original tires about 10k miles ago.Buddy has a Model Y, it's hardly maintenance free. You even have to change the differential oil.
And it eats tires. ;-)
Maybe but the grid isnt close to supporting it. Not close at all. Not to mention its not as green as you think. Many other problems arise. Cali cant support residents using air conditioning . Imagine millions changing their vehicles too. Many hurdles and in the end it takes jobs away. Oil drives the world economy. Plain and simpleWhether we like it or not EV’s are going to be the future for most folks, and it makes sense if the grid can support it. Less noise, less pollution, but I have no illusions of EV’s “saving the planet”.
But, they seem so “soul less”, an ICE vehicle seems like a living, breathing individual with a unique personality. At least my vehicles seem to be temperamental.
