I went to switch my 2023 Wildtrak with a FP Tune to Sport mode and most of my modes were gone. I only have Normal, Eco, and slippery. Sport, Baja, Mus/Ruts, and Rock Crawl (enabled over a year ago with FORscan) are gone.

I hooked up FORscan and no related errors (have one for a short in my fog light harness that I haven’t chased down yet, probably a connector). I am able to switch between 2H, 4H, 4A, and 4L on the GOAT dial without issue. I also reviewed the AsBuilt in FORscan and it’s as expected (image below).

Any ideas before I call my dealer? Could it be a sensor that’s gunked up?

Thanks!

Just a hunch - but this kind of weird electrical gremlin is often just a symptom of a low or dying battery.

I'd try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, hook it back up, put a trickle charger on it over night, and then see if the symptoms persist.

Do you have a MyKey activated?
If you do, and you use that fob, it will lock you out of certain GOAT modes.
That didn’t even enter my mind! I’ll take a look, bet that’s it. I’ll have to do some research to better understand setup and config of MyKey!

Thanks!

That would track with the goats that remain (boring and responsible) and which goats disappeared (fun and fast)

Yep, I must have activated MyKey. Reset with my other “Admin Key” and all is right again. Would be a great feature to use IF I let my wife or anyone else drive her (not).

What the heck is Mykey?
You slip it into a girls drink at the bar and invite her to your car, where you can {Admin: we have been over this crenca, this is a family friendly site}

You can setup a “MyKey” fob that will restrict certain things.
Mainly used for younger kids.
An adult with and admin fob, can set a different fob as a MyKey, and it will lower the speed limiter, not allow you to use the radio unless your seat belt is on, etc. It just sets a bunch of restrictions to try and keep kids safe.
And in this case, it can also lock out certain GOAT modes

Glad you got it sorted out and it wasn't anything crazy.
I was going to be upset if this spread to those with custom Forscan modifications.

Hmm, so is there a way to remove all but the Sport mode from the dial? Or how many modes can be removed?
