A couple videos and I get it now.

The Bestop ONLY goes to position #1 and that’s too high to fit under GOBI. You can’t fully retract Bestop at all. You can only remove side/rear windows for an open feel.

The OEM top fully retracts ONLY after you’ve temporarily raised the GOBI and of course can’t sit in position #1. You cannot lift the rear of OEM with GOBI in down position. To retract OEM you must remove side windows.

Hey guys! So unfortunately, Bestop designed the top just like Ford. They made the top sit extremely high up which would mean making the rack even taller than it currently is. That would eliminate the ability to fit in garages, the slim design etc. We are hoping they will eventually make a slimmer version to accommodate wind and others.

I took a screenshot of the Stealth spec sheet waaaay back when we first started ordering and the upper image of my attachment shows 8” vertical dimension. Today I looked again at the spec sheet and it’s now 12”. Mine is still in the box but can you please confirm what’s going on?

Hey! We had to make some adjustments that accommodated the soft top so we did it across the board for all racks. As far as the light bar mounts, we changed the design and width of metal for increased strength! If you tell me what your order number is I can look at delivery to let you know. Either way, you will have no issues.

I ordered mine March 2022 (GB53262) and already have it (not installed yet - I have no Bronco yet). Want to confirm mine is the shorter 8” version. What is made stronger in the lightbar?

When you say rubber seal, do you mean with top removed and you see most forward end rubber seal? If so, then roof top of MIC to top of same GOBI feature is what?? I need to see if will fit in my garage.

No, Rooftop is on. I used the outer seal seen below. Went straight down the best I could about 18" from the righthand side of the Bronco towards the middle and was just shy of 8" (7 and 5/6") If my tape was able to drop straight down without hitting the rack it would of been more like 7 and 3/4"

If I go off dead center between the 2 top panels about 2" back from the aforementioned rubber seal (this looks to be the high point in the front of the Bronco) the rack is exactly 6 and 3/4" high.

Ok..This pic attached is the way I see it (original release) and the 6.75” is the most important to most anyone contemplating fitting in garage.

For example:
A Badlands/Sasquatch with roof height 79” + GOBI 6.75” = 85.75”
Sasquatch with 37s (+1”) and mild extra lift (1.5”) = 88.25”
Same rig relative to garage opening ~94” leaves 5” for any RTT

If I had the confidence my kids wouldn’t destroy anything nice I’d buy a new home with 8’+ garage doors but for now I’m stuck with 83” openings and my 23zero awning is maxing out all 83 inches. No way am I getting a decent RTT and still parking in the garage.

The way my garage and driveway are sloped I'm actually closer to hitting the back of the rack than the front.

Fortunately the Bronco squats so much when put into reverse I'm able to get in and out of the garage. But it's tight!

This was taken during the install and before I switched from the SAS Bilsteins to the Eibach coilovers. It's even tighter now!

Just a heads up, those rubber bumpers have been known to rub paint off over time.

If adjusted properly they shouldn't even touch.
