Yea I think it will be difficult for the shorter adults to get in/out of the back seat of a 2-dr. Kids are climbers so shouldn't be an issue for them. Same here at 5’7” although I haven’t messed with a 2 door yet. Right now I toss down the 1 rear seat in my Fiesta if I’m driving to golf myself or will toss down the 2 seats if we’re taking 2-3 people. Any more than that then we need to resort to a roof box. Very happy I shouldn’t need to resort to the box again.
I’m 6’3” but my knees are shot. So I hope I can kind lean and fall into the front seat!!
