As much as I agree with waiting..if I knew without a doubt that it was either in 3 months or sometime in 2022 and all I had to give up was rear windshield hardware... Dang I dunno....I might do it. But I want a hard top and it's going to cost a ton later (unless I can find a used MIC)

Wish Ford would send us those dang estimates like they said they would.

get some Rain-X and a squeegee and save yourself the money on the hard top. I wanted a hard top but then i saw how little the wiper covered and switched to soft top.

Because a 4" wiper and mini-washer don't matter? Sorry, too easy.
Actually the rear defrost DOES matter. And is Ford gonna refund me for paying for that wiring and plumbing thats not there? Alot of it is about principle too

im paying 55k+ for a brand new top of the line Bronco, I need to have poor/no visibility out the rear window because the defrost and wipers have no power to them? HELL NO. Plus I will have paid for it and not getting it. They’re not gonna refund younthe difference. All signs point to me waiting.

You may be right but this is what I was told be the salesman at the dealership. Im leaning towards waiting. Not having the electronics and plumbing for the hard top will irk me to no end lol

John Bronco_I Am Here from North America, I don’t know what’s so trivial about what I said. I’m able to order one but it’s soft top only. Why are your so confused??

I don’t get the all the made up stress. Either order what you want or don’t order it at all. Why settle? So you can be the 1st on your block to have a bronco but then regret that you settled for a lesser vehicle. Seems pretty pointless to me. It’s a friggin vehicle nothing more.... don’t agonize over it.. order what you want, get off the forum or social media for awhile and forget about it...

So I have the opportunity to order NOW with delivery in August.

What you said was not trivial, it IS that you are trusting a salesperson that has NO WAY of knowing when your order will be built. He/she is lying to you, ergo my smartass comment. The highest probability is that you may take delivery in late 2022. Either way your sales person, dealer, nor Ford could possibly know when you'll get it and, really at this point, no way in hades you will get it August. There are over 200K people in front of you, many with the same build you would choose.

My best guess at the time you posted with the known facts of low post count, a statement that would rile up most people here, and name & place that 99% of the country could not empathize with, I called troll. Now I tend to think you are probably not due to your reaction.

The best advice is order what you want and wait till it shows up, how ever long that is.

How would the salesman know?
Exactly.

So I have the opportunity to order NOW with delivery in August. BUT...It has to be with the soft top only. Now Ive heard that if you dont get it with the hard top that the wiring and plumbing wont be there. So imagine how torn I am. I know its just the rear defrost and wipers but you use them eventually and its the principle of having the hard top totally nonfunctional. Should I wait??? SO torn!
I'd just as soon assume your dealer is lying about being able to secure a build date to get a quicker sale. But maybe I'm just being cynical.

Are you really going to be happier getting what you want or settling to get something close 3 months earlier?
