I wish I had a video of how aggressively mine vibrates at speed. Its really frustrating cuz I liked running with just the clamshell on, but towards the end of the summer it decided it was no longer going to cooperate.
Ive done this once so far this year, only drove country highways and wow the vibrations were bad! Granted it was an incredibly windy day.

I like how "WE" are calling it a clamshell. Power tools have clamshells lol

With a 2-door doors on windows down, I get beat up from the wind at 80.

I’m surprised there isn’t a dedicated thread to this topic. It happens around 40 mph. Sounds like that awful noise when someone opens a single window. I’ve tried windows up and down and same result.

Found the solution, remove the clamshell and replace. Not surprised they must not have installed it properly at the factory. They didn’t even have the front of my roof rack secured. When I removed the rack the screws were there but not in the threads. Unreal, thankfully no issue with them!

Anyone find an official word from ford on running with t-tops on and rear removed?

It seemed pretty solid when I set it up like that but I did not highway test it. No street test at all.
