Do you have the sound deadening installed from factory. Buddy's was misaligned causing gap. I installed mine and added kilmat. Granted I have a different model but it decreased the amount of noise.

My 2 door hardtop is the same. Yes, noisy. Like a window is cracked open in the back. 85 mph is a bit of a roar. Wife not real happy about that as she gave up her Lexus for ā€œherā€œ new Bronco. I knew it would be noisy. I told her it would be, but itā€™s quite a difference. otherwise it drives great. And when crawling on trails, all is forgiven.

Thanks for your input. Seems we have great taste in color selection šŸ˜„

Well, I'd have to say mine doesn't have those noises. Its a 2-door base, and it seems fairly quiet to me. Not much different that the Wrangler 2-Door I had. I was dreading that aspect of the Bronco because of this forum, but so far so good.

However:
1) I don't go much above 70 (at all).
2) I have only 500 miles on it.
3) I keep it in the garage and so it probably hasn't seen < 40 degrees.
4) I live in Northern CA -- in the flat land (doesn't get that cold anyway).
5) Mine was a late 10/2022 build... so maybe they fixed some things???
6) I've never removed the top.

I bought the Bronco and expected it to be noisier than my f150. it was what I expected until it dropped down to zero. The cold gaps opened up and whistling is bad. I now understand what people are complaining about. I fixed most of it by increasing the clamp pressure on the j hook latches. You can just shim them until you find the loose one.

What did you use to shim.

A strip of plastic from a bottle. once I found which latches needed to be tightened I pulled the latch and turned the j hook the number of turns to match the shims.

Have a '23 WT Lux, and I don't have any problem with the wind noise. Talking with the youngins in the back is sometimes hard, but between me and the GF, no problems at all. But then, I also think the stereo is perfectly adequate at times as well. ;)

Removing the roof rails made a significant highway noise reduction for me. Will put them in when I need them. I like the look better with them on though.

This makes me very happy!

The original idea wasn't mine. I saw something like it somewhere, but couldn't find it, so I made my own.

I got a good one. Noise doesnā€™t bother me. Yay me.
