Every time I handle the hardtop panels during removal or install, I notice “paper cut” slices on my fingers….sometimes deeper than others.
Am I the only lucky one?
I don’t see any apparent sharp edges… any idea on what is causing this?

Yep, it's a thing. The edges are very sharp if you look and feel close enough. Nothing you can do other than be aware and/or wear gloves.

I get them too.

My recommendation: Keep a pair of Mechanix gloves in your … well … glove compartment.

They are great for lots of purposes, including hard top removal.

I did a search though the threads before I posted and now afterwards I see other similar threads. Appreciate the kind feedback!

Get some 400 grit carbide sanding paper, a hand sanding block and you can easily remove and round off the sharp edges permanently. 15 minute job for both front panels. I don't think the rear took nearly if any effort.

I had issues the first few times with mine. I think I may have ran across the edges with a scotch brite pad or fine sandpaper but I honestly cant remember at this point. I know it hasnt been an issue for a long time.

Also, to add, as to cause:

Poor workmanship, cost cutting, no detailed finishing requirements, bad molds or a bit of many of these. Regardless, it's a defect and likely related to the plethora of hardtop problems with both supply and quality.
