Finally took delivery and it’s great but I have a couple questions. Are the little tabs in the photo supposed to be there?

And in the inside is this supposed to have a cover or trim over it?

Any insight would be appreciated !

Glass trim thing - no. Haven’t seen that before, my guess is it helps install the window. Dealer should have discovered that and removed it.

Interior thing - no, that’s a plug / location to plug in your wiper assembly for when the hardtop is removed. It just keeps things tidy.

That clip should not be there. You should remove it
DO NOT REMOVE THAT TAB!!

Your rear window as are removable (as they are on all MOD hardtops) currently found on Heritage broncos. This tab aids in the removal & installation of the window.

Your Heritage hardtop has removable side windows. The normal MIC hardtop doesn’t have that option. Those tabs are for that option. They should be there.

Ha! There it is again:
Ford Bronco Hartop Question & Interior question 1708096434658

We got this question at least once a week for a LONG time. By now, honestly, I thought everyone knew. Even a Google Image search gives a link to hardtop removal. Fear of the Owners Manual is the other reason:

The tabs are only in place to help the factory workers align the window. They aren’t necessary and are supposed to be removed during the PDI.
