Has anybody tried this roof rack for the soft top?

I came across this roof rack that attaches when the roof is down. Anybody install them? Are they any good?

Just reading your description I have questions. A roof rack, for a soft top, that only works when the roof is down.

So you retract the roof, install the rack, then load it full of shit. And to put the roof up if weather gets bad, it has to be empty, uninstalled, and then you can put the roof up. What do you do with the rack then?

I mean I am not saying it doesn't work but sounds like a colossal pain in the ass to me.

Gotcha for day trips, I get it now just seemed like a lot of hassle. I'd just fold the seats and leave the boards hanging out the back and save myself some $$.

The racks can stay on with the soft top up. You don’t have to take the rack off to operate the top. You do have to have the top down to use the rack.

No, they stay on all the time. The softtop folds over it.

it should work with the mesh Bimini top. Just need to see the mounting points on the particular one you are interested in.
