Hey everyone,

I’m still waiting for delivery but gathering all my extras I want to add.

i ordered 4dr Badlands Sasquatch Lux MIC in Cactus Gray with modular bumper.

I’m pulling trigger on shackles (for looks and have soft shackles is ever needed) and can’t decide on color that matches with setup I ordered.

Leaning towards black but curious what others have.

thanks

If you are going to take it off-road, then color doesnt matter, never leave the shackles on the vehicle. It makes them hard/impossible to loosen the pin on the trail when you need them. Buy 2 and put them in your recovery bag.

If it's a mall-crawler, I guess color matters.

Like goalie said...doesn't matter unless it's for decoration. If so then try to match your BL color for that "pop".

I have an OW Bronco and my shackles are white. Not a mall crawler but not a hard core off roader either. Put whatever color you want on there and to hell with what other people think!

I chose to match my interior accents, but without any exterior accents I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot.

I leave them on all the time. We don't have corrosion issues that will make them hard to remove, and having it right where I need it without digging though a gear bag is nice.

Yes I would like some shackles for aesthetics. If you read the whole post you will see that when I plan to go off road I have soft shackles in tool bag and the aesthetic shackles will come off.

Also guess what? I absolutely plan to take my Bronco to Mall and Grocery Store!! Blows your mind I am sure, but yep I will do those things with it.

Thanks for your comment though.

👍 Mine likes to go brewery crawling 😅

I matched mine to the Badlands Orange trim, and I leave them on all the time. The horror.

You might want to consider using some anti-seize on the threads or carry a big wrench, as the shackles on my XJ are on there 24/7 and they are a bear to remove. For the severely OCD here, one has been missing since almost new, and I've been driving around for years with three. LOL!
