Looking to purchase a hitch mount for at least two bikes. In past (on Wrangler) I had the Thule that swings open to the right so tailgate can open. Wondering if there is a different design that works with Bronco tailgate?

Seems like the pivot is out of stock.

What other options are there for this?

$400 also seems pretty steep

1UP with the Kuat Pivot V2 for sure.
The Kuat is out of stock for a reason. 😉

I'm on a list at my local bike shop. I think last I heard they said it would be here on the 24th of March. I'm hoping that holds true or I'm going to regret not going ahead and getting a hitch extender anyway.

Good idea. Guess I'll do the same.

I actually am on order for a Raptor, and I'm wondering if the Kuat pivot would clear the 37's

Local bike shop still couldn't get it despite the fact that they told me multiple times it should be in before the end of March. I've been checking REI.com and they are currently showing in stock for passenger side swing, which is what I wanted, so I pulled the trigger. Should be here next week.

When I get my Bronco, I'll definitely use my LOLO Rack. Holds 4-bikes (option of 6-bikes if needed), doesn't stick out very far and takes about 15 seconds to load the bikes. No bikes touch each other either. The rack is made in Oregon.
In the pic, there's a 24", 26.5" and a 29er.

Just tried to put my Thule T2 Pro on without a hitch extension. On my old Rubicon (also with 35s), it barely fit. Alas, on the Bronco, it doesn’t quite make it despite taking advantage of gaps in the aspirate tire tread pattern.

The green arrow is the end of the locking pin while the yellow is the through-hole.

Even if it had fit, I wouldn’t have been able to fold it up empty.

I just installed my new 1up-USA rack with their hitch extender. Works perfectly on my Sasquatch. Tilts down so you can open swing gate.
I ended up going with this setup, as well. It’s a PERFECT fit.

For those with 1-Up racks be sure to keep an eye on the anodized parts. I ordered one last month and so far I've had to replace the red release levers, hitch assembly, and one of the arms for the wheel holder due to premature fading. It was all replaced under warranty, fortunately, but still a bummer to see it happen.
