Hitch receiver issues

Ok, so I installed a Rough Country rear bumper on my machine, but now I cannot find a receiver that fits! The bumper occupies the same center bolt holes that the hitch bolts to. Called Rough Country and was told that they don't make one that fits their bumper!

Anyone else have this issue?

Looks like your going to have to buy a new bumper that let's you install a typical receiver or a bumper with built-in receiver.

Looks like your going to have to buy a new bumper that let's you install a typical receiver or a bumper with built-in receiver.

Not ready to take a loss like that on a brand new bumper.

If you want to keep the bumper you can buy receiver hitch square tubing and have someone custom fabricate you a hitch to bolt or weld on. Some plate steel will also be needed. There is where knowing how to weld comes in handy. If you can't have this done you are SOL and will have to go back to stock bumper or buy another aftermarket bumper that accepts a standard hitch.

Man that sucks, can you send it back? Or trim it to clear a hitch?
Most of us would have made sure it was compatible with a hitch before purchasing. As you found the hard way, some either are not or have a hitch option.

Yeah I wonder. Definitely doesn't look like the factory hitch. It's pretty funny that the bottom edge is cut out for hitch clearance, but R(eal C(heap says none fit.
