Hood Insulator missing…

I need to see under the hoods to see if anyone has the hood insulators like most vehicles do. Wasn’t concerned until I watched the latest video on the 2.7 engine and his had the insulator.

It's only there if you get the extra sound deadening. I believe you can purchase this separately though and install fairly easily though.

I recall reading a post on here recently where someone installed this and said it had a minimal impact on noise reduction.

I guess that makes sense. I didn’t really associate the part with sound deadening, can’t imagine that blocks a lot of sound from getting into the cabin.
