Right. I didn't think we were talking about paint quality. I thought we were talking about a spot that was missed that will show when the doors (that are meant to come off) are off.false....
What your saying is "it's a Ford! We should expect shitty work!"
I won't and no one else should either. Paint the damn thing.
Done. Tagged #bronco6gTweet this to Levine and tag Ford
I think if you look carefully it’s unpainted in the original video. I can’t believe this is the finished product.Unless I'm mistaken, the 4 door Bronco in the "how to take your doors off" video has paint in the door jam.
You're right, they shouldn't care about these details. Good thing they aren't trying to make taking the doors off a focal point of their advertising. They probably say to themselves it’s not a show surface because they haven’t built doors off Broncos in decades.
It looks like a business opportunity to me. Somebody should make a snap-on cover for the hinge area. It is ugly even without a paint issue and is begging for a simple cover.Has anyone else had issues where the door jam is missing paint?
The drivers and passengers front fender area is not painted.
Tesla says it's normal.
Yes it does. The hinges on a jeep are exterior mounted, look in between the hindge and door, you will see the same thing. Jeep paints the doors with the hinges on.Deflection....
Real question is does the Jeep look like this?
I think it’s a missed area on some of them Others on this forum that have broncos have been asked about it and the hinge area is painted correctlyYes it does. The hinges on a jeep are exterior mounted, look in between the hindge and door, you will see the same thing. Jeep paints the doors with the hinges on.
I should say it’s not an eyesore though.
