How small? I’ve got a small strip, but small as compared to the whole hood. It goes over a foot onto the hood. There’s precut pieces available. You could also just get a roll of 3M film at your desired thickness and DIY.

I purchased the PPF for the front edge of the hood from stickerfab.com also. It's been on there a couple years now. Works great. No problems.
Amazon has plenty of strips that are 2, 3 or 4" wide in whatever length you need. Just search for 3M PPF or Xpel or whatever brand you'd like to use. I found 3M easier to work with myself.

Now this question. Has anyone touched up tiny chips. Maybe 1/32 on an inch and applied PPF over it? How does it look.
