I might look into getting it done in Sac or LA, if I can find a good, reasonably priced place to do it. Seems like the SF Bay Area always overcharges for everything. Would be worth the drive to save a few thousand bucks. We always get screwed here.
My friend who owns a shop is in sacramento DM me if you want his info

That is a great colour! Is that the Anti-matter blue? I've been waiting to see one of those in person. Looks great so far. The Badlands Bronco we have in the shop right now is getting full body PPF including the grill. But it has that satin finish grey grill? So we opted to used XPEL Stealth, which is a satin finish version of their regular Ultimate Plus Gloss. It came out great!

If you look closely where i am pointing, you can see where the grill coverage kit stops. It covers the full area around the headlights and the top and bottom of the grill. It comes in to the first row of holes and then stops. As you can see though, with the Stealth it blends really well, the finish is perfect, you wouldn't know it is there.

Looking forward to what you think of your PPF'd Bronco!
Do you have a before and after of the grille? Overall shot?

Mine is getting Xpel as we speak, we decided to not do the grill as there are so many holes and installer wasn’t positive we could get it to lay down properly.

That's looking fantastic!
Xpel is what I was leaning towards. What did it end up costing in the end?

We did everything but rear tailgate and center of grill and that runs $4500.

I don't think we got a before picture unfortunately. However, if you look at the right half of the second image, you can see the original, uncovered grill, and the left half has XPEL Stealth applied. You'll notice there was next to zero change in the colour and sheen.

I just left my 4 door, Area 51 Badlands at the shop to get Matte PPF. It should be ready by Oct 19th. Maybe the 18th if I'm lucky. Cost will be $4,025.

Would love to see the pictures from your Matte Area 51 Badlands. I'm considering the same thing.

Never heard of it. My installer used to use XPEL, but switched due to yellowing of the film over time.

They used STEK Dynoshield on mine. It’s supposedly manufactured with Ceramic coating right into it so you don’t have to apply it afterwards.

Don’t know if it’s my imagination, or the color of my Bronco, but it hardly ever looks dirty.

I'm just wondering if anyone is going to, or has already, done a partial PPF on their Bronco? I've had this done on the front of my Trailhawk and its been great, but looking to do something different on the Bronco.

I'm not interested in the Ford option, which is the front of the vehicle and front fenders. I'm more looking at doing the doors and rear fender. My only concern is a clear 3M vinyl wrap/PPF will eventually have a dirt mark on where the film stops, especially on an Oxford White vehicle.

Has anyone done something similar? Did you do the full doors (top to bottom) and entire rear fender? Did you do partial on either? How does it look?

I want some protection and after toying with mud flaps or not, I think this might be the next best thing to protect from rocks. Any insights would be appreciated.
I did full PPF on mine and they took everything off. They even did the grille and headlights.
