I used to be well versed in all things Bronco but it has been awhile, so excuse me if this has been covered but looking on the new 2025 build sheet, it looks to be that the Hoss 3.0 is a $2300 option.

Was it standard on the 2024 Badlands or optional as well?

Badlands has never had Hoss 3.0 until 25
Only the Wildtrak had it previously

Oh ok, so the Wildtrak had the Hoss 3.0 and the Raptor had the 4.0 right?

The only part of the Hoss 3.0 package the Badlands ever got previously, was the severe duty steering rack standard in 2024.
But the rest of the suspension was still regular Bilstein instead of Fox.

Ahhh yea, now it is all coming back to me. Is the general consensus is that the Hoss 3.0 is a bargain at that price point on the 2025s, especially for someone that doesn't want to mess with aftermarket?

Really depends on what you’re looking to do/how you’re going to be using the Bronco I would say.

$2400 for the Hoss 3.0 package isn’t bad, but that’s on top of the Sasquatch package which is already ~$5000. Personally I don’t see the value in that.

$2300 for only the Fox shocks is not worth it IMO. Also ask yourself will you be adding anything that may negate those upgraded shocks, like a winch.

Does the Hoss 3.0 use a Bilstein shock absorber?

No it uses the Fox 3.0 Shock setup. I am not sure how good or bad they are, I have a full Fabtech system coil over on my Rig.

That is interesting. This is what the Ford builder site says when you click on the Hoss 3.0 option:

Standard on Stroppe® Edition. Available on Badlands® with Mid Package and Lux Package. Includes: • LT315/70R17 Mud-Terrain (M/T) Tires (35”) • Position-sensitive Bilstein Shock Absorber Requires Sasquatch® Package on Badlands®.

Pretty normal for the build and price website to be full of errors. Refer to the official order guide or your dealer for more accurate information.
