Wait, there's an analog speedo? Nice....yeah, right, never see it buried to the side....

Still wondering why we don't have some customizing ability since it's all software driven....

You might be the only person who's ever looked at that fuck awful analog speedo that shouldn't even exist.
I have to agree. While I belive analog is the way to go for a tach I much prefer digital speedometer as you can quick glance your speed much faster.

I miss the old days when your speedo was run by a cable and the needle would bounce around, am I going 20 or 30 mph 😁

Or glue on a picture of Jesus to help with the anxiety!

Just kidding, but I like the digital speedo - it works well with the ACC to let you know the person in front is doing 79 mph in a 75 zone when I want to be doing 80. Can't get that precise with an analog speedo. Now I do agree on the tach. The bar/digital tach sucks.
yeah I like the digital speedo in an SUV like this. In my other car I sit really close to the ground, giving a much better sense of speed. But riding high in the Bronco, I don’t realize speed changes easily. The “analog” speedo dial gage is useless (even if it was centered) because the numbers are tightly packed and the needle is very fat - it’s hard to quickly read it with any better than 3-5mph accuracy.

Even with an automatic trans in the Bronco, I’d MUCH rather have a tach dial gage in that left space.

Overall, the Bronco instrument cluster is just hideous. With the heavily inspired OG Bronco exterior, it’s bizarre the cluster didn't get similar inspiration with classic looking dials - digital or physical. Mustang and Braptor clusters look so much better than what we got.

And all you had to do was change the little gear at the end of the cable to get your speed calibrated when changing your rear end gears. lol

Not to mention the Bronco Sport's.

Interior appears to be the area of the vehicle affected most when Ford was budgeting cost.

Its 2024, who TF is using the analog gauge? You literally just look at the digital read out and know in a instant what your speed is, why even bother with the analog gauge?

Regarding just the instrument cluster, I don’t think it was cost - it is more a lack of imagination, creativity and basic logic.

It’s like one team designed the right 2/3 with the digital display and another team designed the physical left 1/3 with the dial and they never talked. They match in one way: both have clunky style with horrible readability (speedo dial, and RPM bar).

It’s not just Braptor, Mustang, and Bronco Sport that have better designs, but so does Ranger, Escape and probably every other current Ford out there.

The weak point of the Bronco is the instrument cluster. How in the world did that design make it through? It's the only thing I really hate about my Bronco.
