I noticed the crossbars are not adjustable front-to-back. I have a roof cargo carrier and its mounting locations do not line up with the placement of the Bronco's crossbars. I had a 2005 Escape on which you could slide the crossbars fore and aft. Very useful functionality.

I wondered how involved the process was as I'm a Badlands order and have to get the rack separately. It looks like it will be a quick removal as well for the weekends I want to go topless.

Would someone be able to give me the part number for the 10mm nuts that hold the the front of the rack to the mounting points above the windshield? Ford left those out of my kit and they seem unable to find the part.

What's a stanchion?

The rails that run the length of the car (not the cross bars).
And he's right. Install everything loose first then torque everything down. Especially when you're torqueing metal bolts on top of plastic. R&R enough times and you'll get some wiggle wiggle if you don't do this right.

It's the large size 60" X 54" . I agree, we have the smaller rack on order that's 55" X 49" that should fit the 2 door better.

I have a 2 door hard top. Shouldn't matter its a Base Sasquatch.
I removed my factory rack with a second person. Once it is all together just remove the bolts on the front window and use the weird tool Ford gave you to loosen the rear clamps.
2 people lift and walk backwards worked for me.
The hard top same thing need 2 strong people to lift to be safe. It is awkward to carry I'm going to make a lift to make it easier for me. Too hard for me to find a second person. My wife struggled helping me so now a small dent above the tail light.
