I second this response. Wheeled one for two days in south Texas where it was 107 degrees one day. A/C =I spent two days in one in the blazing TX heat. I give the A/C an A+
It Cranks. And it doesn't slow the Bronco down at all even when it is cranking at Full Blast. About 10 minutes in you will probably have to turn it down a few notches because it will be very cold. This might seem like an odd question but from what I've read with newer vehicles it would be a reasonable question.
I'm a member across several different vehicle makes/models forums and more and more I see posts regarding the A/C in new vehicles.
While I understand the newest refrigerant doesn't seem to cool as well as stuff from the years past, it also seems to be primarily on vehicles with large passenger areas that only have vents in the dash. Most common example would be crew cab pickup trucks.
So for those who have their Bronco or have done extensive test driving, how do you feel the A/C was?
I live in Houston. I test drove it on a super hot day last week. AC was just fine. This might seem like an odd question but from what I've read with newer vehicles it would be a reasonable question.

it's ridiculous to the point where I need to point the vents away from meThis might seem like an odd question but from what I've read with newer vehicles it would be a reasonable question.

Yes it is now r1234yf and apparently under certain circumstances is flammable"While I understand the newest refrigerant doesn't seem to cool as well as stuff from the years past, "
I remember R12 then changed to R134a in the early 90s , did it change again?
