My Badlands was shipped March 2 and has yet to arrive at the dealer. According to Ford’s order tracking website, the originally provided ETA window of March 25-31 is now April 3-9! That's 38 days if one considers the far end of the window. I live on the other side of the continent and realize it wouldn't be an expedient delivery but according to Google Maps I could have walked from my home to the factory in less time! lol. So what is the transport truck doing? Does one's Bronco get passed off between different transport trucks at various points along the journey (and languish in holding lots between transfers)?... because I can't imagine a single truck taking that long to make the journey. If anyone is familiar with convoy logistics, please chime in.

If you’re that far away, it likely shipped via Rail, and depending on where it’s ultimately being shipped to, can take quite a long time.

Factor in delays from railcars being bad ordered, weather, crew shortages (just to name a few), rail can take a while.

My window sticker states CONVOY. At this point I would have preferred rail - or even a herd of pack mules pulling it. 😆

You'll just have to be patient. There was an infamous period early on in 6g's history called Dirt Mountain where Broncos sat for months and I think even years waiting for delivery. I wait 18 months from order to delivery (but only 2 1/2 weeks for truck delivery, but I'm on the left side of the bell curve). I've heard of others like you who waited for pickup and delivery for months for who knows what reason.

I don't know this for sure, but if it got damaged waiting for pickup, they could be waiting on a part or something (although they may push that to the dealership to handle). When it does come in, really look it over and test drive before you purchase. You have the most leverage before you buy.

So shipped [March 2] doesn't mean shipped, i.e. in transit?!

Do not underestimate the impact of the shutdown on the Customs side of things...while the heaviest lifting would be on the Canuck side, I'm guessing there is stuff on the US side as well.

I believe the trucks can be tracked as well as trains, so the next question is whether your sales weasel will give you the information to allow tracking by automated system or website...

I would bet it went by rail to some location in the northwest USA, then after it goes through whatever custom procedures, it gets shipped by truck to your location. Just a guess.

Of course. You seriously over-estimate Ford's ability to get that right for you in the first place. Mine arrived and never went into any status post built. 🤷‍♂️

Why, thanks! Now I'm going to have lines like:

Well, we shot the line and we went for broke
With a thousand screamin' trucks
An' eleven long-haired Friends a' Jesus
In a chartreuse micro-bus.

rolling around in my head for the rest of the day! 😆 The theme song was one catchy tune back in the day.

Mine was lost in a transfer hub (i.e. dirt railroad lot) for 6 weeks.

There is a good possibility it didn't leave the factory on March 2, but patience is a virtue. Do you realize some of us on this forum waited over two years -- yes years not months to get our Bronco? I live in Nebraska and it took several weeks after shipment. I had the railcar information and tracked it across the county. Its not Amazon and they are not in a hurry for sure. I could see it easily taking a month. You are not only a long distance but in a different county.

And I'm on an island to boot! Thanks for your feedback.
