Anyone hear of a company making or developing a larger fuel tank for the bronco.
My 2 door is averaging around 300 miles per tank.

definitely need an upgrade, for fewer stops between fill ups

Having not seen the underside of my 2 door yet, I’d wonder how much room is available. I have the extended tank on my F150 and can go +700 miles on a tank.

Not sure if it’s feasible, but I would love this too. It’s the only thing I hate about my bronco. With a 3” and 37’s, I only get about 270 on a good day.

Companies appear to be avoiding a tank replacement or piggyback tanks for “evap system tampering” reasons. Carrying extra fuel in Jerry’s/Roto’s/Spare Tire Tanks will probably be the only way forwards

About to make a marathon run from Seattle to Colorado, 17 hours of driving... Not looking forward to 3-4 fuel stops. I could really do with 25-30 gallons..

I've crawled around under our 2 door and think that you could possibly get a couple or so gallons with a custom tank. You would get more if you can sacrifice ground clearance. Badass tents and Trailraks has or will have side mount racks for Rotopaks. They both say it can be obtained as a stand along product with no roof rack required.

You could design 'racing' tanks and have them (and bladders) built by someone like https://www.atlinc.com/racing.html if you are willing to throw $$$ at it, or put on the Bridgestone 17" tires and drive 70 mph or under and get nearly 400 miles of range in a 2 door 2.3l Auto.

You know that's funny, i think the 32 gallon fuel tank on my 96 averages 300 miles a tank too! :ROFLMAO:

I removed my muffler and straight pipe with resornator. I'm going to build a tank in it's place. Should hold around 7-8 gallons.

I get around 550 on a tank on my 07 Expy.

Going down to worst than my Mustang (330) is going to suck bad. Assuming Ford ever builds the thing.

I think I'm going to use the 200 pound weight capacity of the roof and a beer funnel to get me more mileage. Almost like aerial refueling:ROFLMAO:

I would love more tank as well.

I 'have to' be in sport mode but still its just over 300 miles & fill up.
