The point is that we have enough points to get it free from Ford. At the moment I don't have any other accessories I could get....The same harness can be had through Thinkware. No need to buy it from Ford. Doesn't matter much if the device doesn't work anyways! Go with the Garmin.
Yea I have three of them S2, ZX, Z1. Love those things. Currently using a KAC Overdrive rack. Works well.Dope you got a super 73! I got the z1 also. what Rack are you using?
I'm planning on it for my primary vehicles. I see crazy stuff all the time on the road, nice to have footage if there's an accident and it can prove you weren't at fault.Don’t feel as if I really need this technology installed in my truck. Can anyone give me examples why I’m wrong

Yes, I have contemplated that it could work against me in some situations!Or maybe it was my fault
THey'd need a warrant for that...... and the card could be destroyed or misplaced before they even made the call.... just saying.Yes, I have contemplated that it could work against me in some situations!
Very good chance that bites you in the but in my opinion.Yes, I have contemplated that it could work against me in some situations!
Younger me might agree. From more recent observations I think the likelihood that it shows the other person f'd up is far far more likely for me.Very good chance that bites you in the but in my opinion.
I don’t nearly as aggressive as I used too, but still have my momentsYounger me might agree. From more recent observations I think the likelihood that it shows the other person f'd up is far far more likely for me.
Do you think the rear camera could be installed in this location to keep it as high as possible?Installed a front and rear dash cam last night. Went with the Thinkware F200 Pro. Also got the OBD cable for constant power to enable the parking surveillance mode and for ease of install. Got a CPL filter for the camera too, but found out you can’t use it in combination with windshield tint or else you’ll get a rainbow effect in your videos. Overall it was a pretty easy install. Hardest part was just concealing the wires. For the rear camera, I totally forgot I pretty much don’t have a rear window to install it on because every time I decide to fold the soft top down I have to remove the rear window! Installing it on the underside of the crossbar was the only place that made sense for me while still keeping the camera centered. The spare and the third brake light take up most of the view, but at least the cargo area is in view I haven’t tested out the video quality through the plastic rear window yet, but I should be able to soon. I’ll post pics of that as well.
Hidden behind the rear view mirror. Can hardly see it from the driving position.

That area is curved and goes inward, or U-shaped, so it wasn’t possible to mount it there.Do you think the rear camera could be installed in this location to keep it as high as possible?
I see what you mean. I was looking at it on ours and thought the same thing. Nice install, I'm starting to look at these right now. I'm spoiled with the Sentry Mode on my car and want something similar on the Bronco for my wife. Thanks for the response. That area is curved and goes inward, or U-shaped, so it wasn’t possible to mount it there.
