Black Diamond non-Squatch, not lifted yet. Had some Toyo AT 35x11.5 added to the steelies. Hadn’t seen this combo but had seen people add 35’s to stock non-lifted trucks before (I thought). He said not even full lock there’s rubbing on the frame. Am I crazy to think someone else did it no problem?

The frame or the crash bars?

The frame. I pointed out the crash bars would possibly be in the way and he said they were fine.
More than likely not enough offset, squatch with 35's is +30 while all others are +55

Hard to believe they are clearing the crash bars with 35's

That’s why I went with 11.5, but that was to avoid rubbing the control arm.

There's another recent thread earlier today and dude has the 315 SAS tires mounted on his BD w/ the steelies w/o issue but he also installed a 2" lift.

Could be the 35s you are installing are actually a full 35" diameter vs. the 315s +/-34.5" diameter. It's not much difference but could be the cause.

I'd ask Ashley @618TRVLWILD . She had a friend do it, if I recall correctly....

Ford removes the crash bars and lifts the truck to fit 35's. Your installer doesn't know what he is saying.

I haven’t seen anyone say that 35s work without lift and/or new wheels (offset change). Some people assume it, but they would really be shoe horned in….but bottom like is you don’t want less lift than what Sasquatch has for 35s, and want similar offset in the wheels.

I would have thought adding 1/2 would clear the control arm but guess not.
