Good morning!

Over the past few weeks my dash instrument cluster is black when the temp is below around 55 degrees. After I drive it a bit (20+ minutes) with the heat on, I can park and re-crank and get it back. All functions associated with the dash display, e.g., cruise control, etc., work. Sync works fine.

Additionally, both front and rear cameras are intermittently functional -- I can find no corollary and/or ambient conditions, like temperature, associated with the cameras. Drives me crazy.

My questions: Has anyone experienced the IC going dead due to outside temperature, and if so, was it rectified (and how)? Secondly, is it possible the cameras intermittent functionality is associated with the IC, like a wiring harness, etc.?

Thank you, All!

Hi Paul! I can look into your Bronco's concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

No issues with mine and our temp runs between 20 and 30 deg in the morning. Sounds like an electrical problem. Keep us posted...
