Is the factory tranny skid plate available on its own?

Just looking for some piece of mind...
Pleasantly surprised that my 2 door Heritage came with the gas tank skid already...
Seen the whole factory kit available from Ford but can't seem to find just the 1 plate.
Aftermarket units are pricey. Even the Maybett one
Options?

There isn't a stock transmission plate. You have to go aftermarket or make your own.

I thought the Mabett one was very affordable. It’s powder coated aluminum. Ordered mine from Amazon. Easy peasy install.

the only issue is that he doesn't build one for the 2.7

BRaptor factory trans skid which fits all 6Gs with the extra braces (2.7) and would probably fit 2.3 without but just have the extra accommodations

I have the StinkyFab trans plate for the 2.3L, but they fit the 2.7L and have optional crossmember braces. They are beefy but also high clearance.

That's a nice but pricey option. I purchased the transfer case skid kit from Flip a while back and it was well priced. This one has the Raptor tax!

I had this on my previous 2.3L BL and can confirm it fits. Just looks out of place since the diagonal braces aren't there on the 2.3.

That is correct. There's different theories, but my thought is it was to save weight. And people have hit it. Another option is to upgrade to a metal pan, but that's more expensive than a plate.

That's the engine skid. The front skid is the part with wings on the right, the transfer case skid is the elbowed one on the left. The one you don't see if the gap between the engine and transfer skids.
