Finally had some time to tear into my bronco mods a bit! Up first was a JCR Vanguard front bumper with Adaptive Cruise relocation bracket.
And the next day (today) it was time to install the winch.
I wanted it on a 500 amp isolator, and the perfect thing on the bronco to trigger this is the overhead switch console! I wired into switch 6 and jumpered to the purple wire up by the radiator to keep it really clean looking.
Mounted the isolator to the battery tray using one of the empty holes. a single bolt holts this on for now, but it feels snug enough to never move.
And the finished product minus the winch hook.
let me know your thoughts! specs on the winch have it pulling less than 500 amps at full load, so that big isolator should work just fine.
there will be video of the winch install and bumper install.
