Figured I’d start a build thread even if it’s a little late in the game with my build. Start off my Bronco is a 21 Badlands with Sasquatch in velocity blue with the lux package.
This is how it looked in the first week of purchasing it. Also everything besides the upper and lower links have been installed by myself so feel free to ask about if it was difficult or not.

Decided to chop the tube wings off my bumper. Feel like it cleaned the look up and made it more sleek. Just need to see if I can move the parking sensor inboard more to protect it more.

Finally got around to putting everything back onto my overland/camping trailer after getting it rhino lined and painted to match my Bronco. Feel like it turned out pretty nice.

Installed a midland mxt 575 radio and used up my last aux switch in the process. Realized I had the wrong antenna cord so just waiting on that to finish the install.

Toss some window screen behind the radiator shutters to help with bugs and seeds from around the farm getting into the radiator fins. Pretty simple mod.

I see you are on the fence with the adv hardtop. Do you need that in California? I ordered a white one-piece this week. Supposed to ship in December.

It would be nice to have during the winter where I am, but I decided against getting it and just sticking with the soft top. Maybe in a few years I’ll change my mind but who knows.

Nice write up. I have the Next venture diff skid waiting to go on my Badlands. Does the diff skid hang down quite a bit?

Haven’t had any so far and there was a few 100+ days after I tossed it in. We’ve kinda always tossed a bug screen on our pickups around our farm just anymore no one makes ones for a specific vehicle so figured so screen material for house windows would work just as well.

Well had a good day today hanging out with the Gold Country Bronco peeps at a cars and coffee meet up. Hit up Prairie City out of Sac with them after, was my first time ever being there. Was fun learning exactly how much read flex the Icon kit gives and trying to tackle some harder obstacles.

Did cause a tiny bit of damage on my Bronco and lost one of my Ford mudflaps when the frame part got caught on a rock and ripped the riv nuts for the DV8 inner fenders out of the sheet metal. Was an easy enough fix with a piece of scrap aluminum I had laying around.
