I have the console safe in mine so I would be SOL when it comes to putting it in the indentation. Mine was a weak battery in the FOB.

Yep which is only accessible if you get it to recognize the FOB! , or on the app if you think about that in the middle of the night. Sheesh

There is no bottom it’s just a locking lid? Side pieces and a lid the bottom is open for the key

"super modern" may be a bit of an hyperbole, my phone is over 3 years old, which is not super modern, and it does the app just fine.

You can get a brand new, unlocked Motorola Moto G Power for under $200 if you need to update your phone on a budget.

This just happened to me yesterday. I went into a gas station and got some items. Came out and the fob buttons wouldn't unlock the Bronco. Used the key and opened it up and nothing seemed wrong. It started right up so I'm not sure why it did it. Hasn't done it since.

The Console Vault uses a removable foam pad as a false bottom, so the key fob indentation is still accessible.

That's what I thought. Picking up my rig today!!!! Installing the vault in the next couple....
