Has anyone had any luck with a good kill switch option. I have seen the model with the “key” you need to plug in and while effective I was looking for something with more
Of a hodden dip switch aesthetic.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I've used the big green battery knobs on my classic cars for years.

Which circuit are you trying to kill? Starter? Alternator? Winch? Frig? Battery drain (ha ha ha)? Passenger's seat heater?

How much do you want to spend? $$ or $$$ or $$$$? @VAtruck 's recommendation is cheap and simple for a physical air gap kill. $16. But I've circumvented one with a bolt and washer.

Presume you meant "hidden", since I never heard of a "hodden" switch.
You are talking a relay activated kill switch if you want hidden. Do you want one with an actuated air gap switch (similar to marine engine kills), or just a relay? There are lots of either available online.

Relays are designed for the shortest actuation distance, not the farthest, like an air gap switch. Usually it doesn't matter, unless you are in harsh environments (water fording, mud slinging, sand flinging ... like places Broncos show up at). Mall crawlers have no worries.

Also, hidden isn't hidden if the actual relay/air gap device is next to or near the battery. Keep that in mind because your amp rating should be 2X the circuit wire gauge DC rating.

It’s a common thing as an anti-theft measure.

Usually fuel pump.

There are a few older threads on this, and some good solutions there

My kill switch is on my G19, which is coming with me when my Bronco alarm goes off.

I had the IGLA kill switch installed. It uses a "Pin" that you set using buttons already in the car, there isn't a switch that can found and the device isn't easily located. It's not cheap but it has good reviews and it puts my mind at ease especially when the roof and doors are off. https://iglaus.com/igla-alarm/

Thank you. Did you order it from a dealer / installer or purchase yourself and had someone install it? Also which model did you order as it seems like there are several options that would act as a kill switch.

I reached out to Igla to find an installer near me. The email for SoCal is [email protected]. I purchased the one below directly from the installer
