I've been using MekMagnet trail armor for 3 months now on my Bronco Badlands, and I am loving it. I've not had any problems with it, and it is providing great protection. Where I wheel there is plenty of chances for scrapes from tree limbs to tons of brush. I don't worry about that anymore. Plus I love this pattern I have. The Ghost Camo Black is killer. Anyone else using the MekMagnet Trail Armor? If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact me.

Do you leave yours on all the time? I would want to take mine off except when on the trails and worry it would stop sticking to the Bronco after several cycles of on and off.

I have a question. I thought our Broncos had aluminum bodiesā€¦. How does a magnet stick to it? Also. My experience with magnetic signs on trucksā€¦ it always scratches the paint eventually.

" Material used: For the steel Jeep JK, JKU, TJ and Toyota 4Runner and Tacoma we use high energy vinyl wrapped magnet. For the aluminum Jeep JL, JLU, JT and Bronco 2D and 4D we use lightweight ballistic resign utilizing nano-hold technology material. "

My friend had that on during the last Baja run. I really liked it! I havenā€™t had a chance to talk to them, but I saw on their site that the armor all have some type of graphics. If they can do a ā€œclearā€ armor, Iā€™m in!!!

Looks really nice but 900 bones and they can't even throw in the carrying case? We bit of greed going on IMHO.

Really, at the fraction of the price of a wrap?

I finally put mine on last weekend...it was not fun!
It holds super tight and I have a lot of

creases now, but I like it, I went with the Black Topo.

That looks really good! You should just wrap it with that design.

Unless you plan on running this all the time anyways?

It is actually better to take it on and off. That is what it is designed for. The ā€œsticky materialā€ will always be there. It is a lightweight ballistic resin. Only way it loses its ā€œstickinessā€ is if it gets dirt or muddy water on the edges. Then you just use light soap and water to clean the armor and vehicle and it is back to sticking again.
