They will be back to store at probably at early December. When will these be back in stock?
Could you turn on/off them with map light?Installed the dome light and 4 interior lights last week and they worked fine for a few days and then they stopped working. Even had my power window buttons stop working. Any one experience this. Could it be a blown fuse?
Will these be updated to fix the issues we are having ?They will be back to store at probably at early December.
yes, when I originally installed them they worked with the map lightCould you turn on/off them with map light?
I need more information, PM me.yes, when I originally installed them they worked with the map light
They work properly during test. Will these be updated to fix the issues we are having ?
Took a video and sent a note to Mabett. Looks like GMRS/UHF/VHF radio frequency triggers the dome light to come on. I can key up a mic and it comes right on! super strange.Mabett asked for a video of the center light coming on randomly while driving, but it hasn’t happened since they asked for a video.
Hey buddy, how long has the situation you describe lasted? My lights were working fine for some time, but now they come on and won't go off (strangely only happens at night). I have to turn off the car, lock it and wait a couple of seconds for it to go off. After doing so, they don't turn back on when the door is opened initially. They do turn on if the door is left open for more than 20 seconds or so. I have disconnected the lights for now.
That may be true. They work properly during test.
That is kind of weired. The lights on our own car have been in use for several months and have never had such a problem. Anyway, since such a problem occurs, I will conduct another round of testing on this issue. That may be true.
However, they are not working properly on a consistent basis for your customers. I have been able to identify a potential trend: the lights malfunction during overcast weather. This issue was identified by another forum user several months ago. Originally it affected the cargo light only. Currently it affects the lights over the doors - they stay on after starting the vehicle. (Although for several days none of the Mabett lights would turn on under any circumstances.) Sometimes maximizing the display brightness setting turns them off, sometimes it does not. Sometimes turning the vehicle off stops the issue, sometimes it does not (lights remain on indefinitely, and regardless of opening/closing door). The issue occurs when skies are grey, but there is no reliable way to resolve it.
It happened again tonight coming home from work. Very late afternoon, so skies were dark grey and it was raining. I get in, close door, start vehicle. Lights over doors stay on. I press display brightness + button to maximum brightness. Lights stay on. I press display brightness - button two or three times and the lights turn off. Having them turn off after pressing the brightness - button was new today. Previously brightness + would make the lights turn off. That is kind of weired. The lights on our own car have been in use for several months and have never had such a problem. Anyway, since such a problem occurs, I will conduct another round of testing on this issue.
