I don’t believe that figure. But, if it was true it’s only because the fanatics are buying it in year 1. By year 3 it’ll be 95% automatics once every Sally, Karen and Judy buy a Big Bend for soccer practice runs.

One complaint I see on the internet is that everyone says they want a manual, but no one actually buys them. Looks like in the Bronco's case a healthy percentage of people are putting their money where their mouth is! Great to see, and also per the article the SAS take rate is over 50% which leads me to think that once ManSquatch is available the manual percent will be even higher!

No manual for me. How am I supposed to drink coffee and play on my phone and shift gears at the same time? I only have two hands.

They need to offer the manual with another engine as an option such as the 2.7. The take rate would be even higher.
Had they offered the manual with the 2.7 my FE would have came that way.
