I have taken the front hardtop panels off a few times now with the improving weather. I have noticed that I have cut up my fingers a couple of times on what I think are rough or unfinished edges. I have only taken the middle panel off once (so far) so not sure if there is the same issue.

Just curious if anyone has experienced the same issues I have and if so, what you did, if anything

I can't remember. It's started snowing the first week in November and hasn't stopped yet. Someday, I'll check it out for you.

Sand or file the edges as needed
Figured as much, thank you. But given the general "issues" and the knowledge here, always best to ask best practices.

Mine are also finished like a 5 year old made them in art class while the teacher was helping another kid.

I would advise against filing or sanding them in any way. Don’t give Ford a reason to deny the almost certain future warranty claim or class action that all of these MIC tops are going to be a part of. Take it to the dealership and let them f it up.

I keep a pair of leather gloves in my top bag to remind me; no glove, no love.

Don’t sand your paper mache top panels. That will give Ford a reason to deny the warranty replacement you will need when it starts cracking. And yes they are sharp AF.
