Is there a way yet to go the other way around, @flip ?

I have a FE and had originally ordered dual tops. I’d still like to get a factory soft top ASAP.

I’m not a fan of the Trektop (don’t like the fastback or that it only folds to rear roll bar). Not willing to ditch MIC either, so not interested in trading with anyone.

Most economical and available will be trying to find someone wanting to do a private sale. There have been a few folks buy parts from me to install the soft top but have found individuals either through forums or locally.

It's not practical to try and piece one together through the dealer unless you have a ton of disposable income and can wait, possibly months, for stuff to come off back order. I'd try putting a wanted ad in the commerce section but let me caution you to make sure you can trade the rear cargo area trim panels and you get all of the brackets. Last I checked, Ford's supplier for those panels either bailed, went out or were fired by Ford and they were looking for a new vendor. That's based on remarks from the parts info system.

Looks like I’ll be in for a wait, then. While I’ve got you, what’s the word on tube doors? Ordered them a year ago and don’t have them yet.

They still haven't even produced a prototype of the top. I think a september ship date is VERY optimistic.

Getting a bit less optimistic myself now…
