MIC Top Dents - Anyone Else Have This?

Hi All,
Just took delivery of our 2-door BL. Love it, but saw these dents just now. They are only on the cap, not on the removable panels. I sent pics to the dealer and waiting on a response. It almost looks like hail damage, but wondered if I could be another quality issue to add to the list. Anyone else seen this on their top?

That looks like hail to me. I wonder if it happened at the factory, during transport, or at the dealership. Regardless, if it occurred before you took delivery, Ford should be warrantying that.

Yeah my thoughts too. Just hoping to rule out another quality issue. Funny thing though….there is no other damage on the vehicle anywhere. Just the rear top

Well, my wait for this bronco has been two years…lol. So the wait wasn’t long at all from End of line to dealer (maybe three weeks) then two weeks at dealer. Then three days on the truck to my driveway. In all cases, theres no admittance of a storm incident. And since it’s back top only with damage, it must be an incident in the MIC top supply chain.

Verify the Manufacture date of the top is “near” your build date. It sounds like your Bronco was in many different hands before it got to you. Plenty of time to do a quick switch-a-roo. Do you see any silver where a tool fits in the Torx bolts?

No damage anywhere else. Only the back cap. Weird isn’t it…

Taking it in to dealer first chance I get.

I have them as well only on the rear top. In most lighting they are hard to see and barley visible. Difficult to feel as well. I'm also not happy with the alignment on the passenger side of the top between the middle and rear piece.
