Except Ford will give you Mid with a manual on Badlands. They just remove the Remote Start.
Weird they didn't do that with BD too then.

Didn't want badlands or even manual so I didn't research it very far. Had to have remote start though.

I think it was to upset manual "enthusiasts" to the higher trim.

I think Ford underestimated the demand for the 7 speed.
For now anyways. It will be interesting to see if the take rate keeps up long-term.

I agree. Ford should have expected this, 50% of Mustang GT buyers want the manual, 20% of Ecoboost Mustangs take the manual. (per Automobilemag).

Only reason the manual take rate is as low as it is is because Ford really doesn't want to make the manual, and won't let you get the bigger engine with the stick shift.

Wrangler numbers are harder to come by, I have seen numbers from 18-35%.
