How is there not a class action lawsuit by now? The tops are defective.
agreed. BUT why do they need the Bronco for hours just to switch out the middle panel? The service advisor couldn’t tell me, he just said ā€œthat’s what the tech told meā€.

I think it's because they need to glue in a new headliner. Apparently everything is built on components.

It is the headliner. The replacements come without one and they have to glue it in. They also reuse all of the locking mechanisms. Technically the headliner is considered an accessory so they might even reuse your old headliner. They did on mine. I just got my vehicle back last week after they had it for almost five weeks. Now granted, they replaced the whole roof, but still the time was ridiculous.
