Covered here, totally agree

if they werent going into this EV boondoggle and didnt have to offset their losses, still be a base model
I'm not a financial guy, but it seems like they should have done an IPO for a new company for the EV segment...Gotten investor money....Used it to build out battery plants, infrastructure etc....instead of going in the red. It would have been win win. I need to take Ford over and make it great again.

I was one of the lucky ones to get a base SAS. I wont post what I paid because I still dont believe it. Added the aftermarket rock rails I got off this forum, replaced the speakers, just an incredible value.

So you think it's the UAW fault prices are high? Ford been pumping up prices for the past 3 years dramatically. Pocketing big money.
He never blamed the uaw. Might want to read again. Ford first responsibility is to the share holders not the employees.

My 17 year old son would kill for the chance at the $29k base model that was offered at release. Sad to see Ford has done away with the base and increased the price on everything in the process. Entry point for Bronco is now $42k after delivery.
Unfortunately even if you could order a Base, they started at $39,935 at the end in 2023. Just like all the other models, they went up since launch.

I need a new 3/4 ton. Current is a 2012. No way I'm paying $90k to replace.

With Grangers help, I got a 23 Base, SAS, Switches, keypad and rack. Sticker was 43,600, got it for 36,100. Thank You Zack and Albert. Ford made me wait 2 years, 8 months and 2 weeks from the reservation.

I ordered a 4 dr AMB base with a HT...a couple small options...switches...mats..wait almost a year for it Jan-Dec...It's a 4 year lease, due in Dec 25...I'll have to see how the car market (and country) are doing at that time..maybe I'll buy it from the dealer and put a 4sale on it...

4 door Badlands with Sasquatch, V6, high and MIC here...$52k after discounts. I'll own this thing at least 2 more years before it depreciates that much, lol.

A few things have changed in the economy since 2020.
In comparison the Camry went from $26k to 29K at the same time the Bronco jumped from $29k to $38k(?). So I don't really buy the price increases are due to restraints/economy etc. and it has more to do with dealers selling Bronco's for $10K ADM, and Ford decided to take that money for themselves.

I remember for a while it was questionable if Ford would do a base SAS. I'm glad they did. I really don't like all those extra features anyway. Plan B was get a manual base and throw some 33s on it and that would have been a fun rig too. As the OP mentioned that is a lot of value for 30k....

I honestly haven't met anyone that actually got their base bronco at 29K... by the time I got my base sas the msrp was at 30k (not including the Sasquatch package). I hope with CDJR giving crazy deals for the wranglers and gladiators that Ford will follow...23k Wrangler sport is hard to say no too.

I can only recall one person that I think ordered zero options, just to see what he could do with the cheapest Bronco made.
