I was going to order a base Sas when the order banks were going to open up in March 23 but I sold my Silverado in late Jan and had to scramble to find a 2 door. All the base/base trucks around here were being marked up by dealers who were adding lifts and wheels/tires so I decided to go with a base Sas. I got lucky and found an abandoned order for msrp that was Sas, 2.7, mod bumper, brush guard, hoop steps, aux switches so it had a bunch of options I liked. Now with them dropping the base, I don't think I would have bothered with the price increases and higher trim for 24.

Ok, I’ll add my Base Sas, best bang for the buck, and coolest sticker to boot.

Oh yeah, and $43,180 out the door 2023 with last year’s price protection.

Whatever happened to the Ford Bronco "Work" trim they were talking about earlier this year? Might be a Base model reimagined...

Anxiously waiting to see what the 'Work' version is all about. Tho I doubt it'll be a 2 door.
I hardly see the Bronco as a work vehicle, unless they build/target it for fire/rescue/forest service. The Filson Brocno build was neat. Figure it could be based on a Black Diamond.
I can't see a 'work' version being used as a fleet vehicle for delivery services or as a modern 'postal Jeep'.

Glad I got my 2 door BaseSquatch, even tho it took almost 3 damn years!
I would have been happy with a Base with Adv4wd, rear locker and decent wheels/tires (aka miniSquatch) but that wasn't an option. So spending the 5k on the Squatch package vs the upgrade(?) to a Big Bend was a no-brainer.

Sad that Ford did away with the Base, They priced the Bronco out of reach of many.

There will never be a ‘work’ or ‘base’ available, again. Ford’s ‘work’ small vehicle is the XL Maverick, hence why it’s still available at $23K.
Jeep is rightfully so advertising their ‘base’ at $33ish. Ford is WAY off starting at $40k….

Holy smokes! I thought you were joking but I went on B&P and you're right! You have to get a BD to get the 2.7L and just adding SAS is $56K rounded up!

I have a BL, 2.3L 7MT, 4dr, High, Roof rack, Tow, upgraded rims for $53K.

That is a stupid crazy price increase... I consider myself lucky...

We are lucky indeed. I ordered a 22 BL 7mt with mod bumper and brush guard. Out the door 51k. This year, that build is 51k msrp. F#cking nuts.

It is a shame Ford axed the base trim. An affordable, bare bones off roader was a win, and the base squatch was a killer value.

My 17 year old son would kill for the chance at the $29k base model that was offered at release. Sad to see Ford has done away with the base and increased the price on everything in the process. Entry point for Bronco is now $42k after delivery.

That’s almost as much as I paid for my 2022 base four door with the 2.7, modular bumper and other accessories. They Even stopped including the skid plate with the modular bumper. I got it for the 2021 price.
