This makes little sense. My truck gears are set up to match my tire and hauling load needs, that is whu I get 17 MPG. The reason you use gears like 4.7 is to blanace out having the bigger tire. Putting 3.73 gears with 35" tires is what gives you the problems. Obviously none of us know the real numbers, but I can't believe the 35" tires with 4.70 gears and a 10 speed tranny with a little 2.7 is going to get 14 MPG. Maybe but I highly doubt it.Are you running 4.7 gears and 35's?
