Any issues with power from 2.3 with the heavier tires? And what suspension do you have?
None at all. Coming from a 16 JKU Rubicon Hard Rock on 35's, my Bronco definitely feels faster. That's not to say that it's "fast", though....

22 to 23 MPG on County roads 35-60 mph

2Dr Black Diamond w SQ pkg, 2.3L Auto
37's w 1.25" leveling kit
Mobil 1 Full Synthetic
Exxon Premium 91 - (no 93 here in higher elev)

For correct MPG have to recal speedo/odo for your larger tires

MPG less on freeway 80 mph
Broncos have many great features. Aerodynamics not one of them

So you're on 37's with just a leveling kit? Did you lift the rear at all? Stock wheels/offset? Any rubbing?

There’s no way. I get 16.7 with 35s and a 3” lift. I recalibrated my speedometer and still get shit for mileage.

All depends on your actual tire size vs what it says on the sidewall.

for example my 35” Goodyears that come stock on the SAS measure an actual 33.5”. Now 37” BFG K2’s measure 34.5” which is what I am thinking of getting. According to this Jeep site and all the tires they have measured. That’s only an inch difference and somewhat wider.

so your mileage might not need to go down as much and you might only need a leveling kit.

here is there site. I personally don’t have the K2’s yet so cannot personally verify

Yes
No other lift - factory SQ wheels. Yokohama Geolander M/T 37's - (spec 36.8)
Never any rubbing going Forward, even very rugged off-road.
In Reverse w full-lock some occasional minor rubbing.
Never any for rear axle.

Round-trip 22.5 MPG from today. Back to same starting point

Your tire sidewall will play as much (probably more) than tire diameter in your MPGs. Yes the diameter has to do with gear ratio but what really effects your MPGs is rolling resistance. How much flex is in the sidewall? What air pressure do you run it at on the road? The more flex in the carcass I would guess more resistance to rolling and lower MPGs....I could be wrong...

Today 25.3 MPG - local roads 35-55 mph - round-trip back to same starting point. Raised tire pressure now 38 cold

Did you change your tire size in the ECU? What hearing are you using, 5,13? Everyone claiming mileage that those on 32s aren’t getting… there is no way. I started with a non sas BD (20mpg highway) which is stock 33s, when I went to 35s I lost 3 mpg before coilovers with a lift. Everyone else on 37s gets 15 tops @BigMeatsBronco any clarification here? With 40s you should be getting damn near 30mpg?

You have a unicorn. I only got near that bone stock on the 285s. I struggle to break 17 on 35s driving like a grandma.

Well others have posted 23+ w freeway driving included. I'm driving medium speed County roads w very few stops & no freeway. So it's still similar to the others

Could be something w the tires also. Those factory GY's are only 52 lbs and C-rated. These Yoko's are 76 lbs and D-rated. Definitely stiffer sidewalls as @5GENIDN mentioned. And now pumped to 38 cold. Also less powertrain friction cause less revs per mile

I've confirmed the speedo recal using several radar speed-check feedback signs on the highways. And using mile markers

Next week I'll do a freeway trip at 80 mph. See how it does there

What mileage are folks getting while ***4x4 OFF ROADING*** with 4-door, 2.7L engine, 37" tires at about 20 PSI? For example, what's the typical MPG off roading in Moab with a setup like this?

Everyone will have different results based on driving habits, speeds, topography, etc. For the first 8k I’m my raptor, I averaged 17.9 mpg. Mostly because of driving the speed limit, maximizing cruise control and auto start/stop, and driving mostly on country highways.
