The ko2’s are pretty quiet even with the soft top. I didn’t go with with for 37’s because I’ve read a few instances where they took a lot of weight. That could be an instance if people getting a bad tire. That’s what happened to two of my wife’s fuel tires. Had the dealer warranty them out and the new ones balanced with less than two ounces. Vs the 20+ OZ the two they replaced were calling for.

Can this kit fit 37" tires on an outer banks? The rims which I already bought are 17x 8.5 zero offset.
It says 35" but I'm sure they're not talking about removing the crash bars.

Yes. I’ve got an OBX non-SAS on 37s with 0 offset. No issues. Runs great, looks awesome.

This gives me some hope lol. I have 37’s supposed to arrive tomorrow. How close are you rubbing? Have you put it up a ramp or compressed it yet? Any rubbing there. We off-road at least once a month and will be nervous until I get out in the tough conditions. How much lift? And how much poke? I didn’t do 0 offset I think the rims I got are +12 so I’m a bit leery.

Man that looks awesome!!! How's the ride?
Thanks ! Not bad ! Slightly rougher but my tires are a lot more aggressive than stock, they’re also E load so there’s that, and they’re overinflated. I’m going to drop the pressure to 35psi to see if there’s a difference. I actually just got My OBX and this setup last week so still getting used to it but very happy I went with 37s. Only regret I have now is I wish I had gone with a bigger lift instead of the 3” ICON.

Just a thought...I just got the toyo mt 35x12.5x17 on my JL.....They are huge for a 35" tire. Small 37 vs large 35....You might not even notice the small difference and not have to worry about any of these issues. I found a video on youtube where they compared all the 35s and they are not all created equal. There is another video on youtube as well where they compare it to the bfg MT and again the toyo is much bigger.

No rub under normal driving. There’s a really small and quick rub on the back of the front tires on the side steps when braking hard and turning. But that can be fixed. I’ll be removing those stupid steps soon. 3” ICON Spacer Lift. I went with a 0 offset because I understood it would be the best offset without too much poke and without rubbing on the crash bars or in the back of the wheel wells. +12 might rub a little on the front part of the crash bars but you can always do the JKS Tire Clearance Kit.

Here are some pics of the poke.

Thanks for the pics. I’m at 3 1/2” and aftermarket UCA’s I’m hoping not to have to do the clearance kit. One reason is I don’t want to pull my winch and bumper back off lol. I’ve seen where people have taken The caps off the boards and trimmed them an inch or so and I’m good with that. I think the backspacing is 4.46” on the rims I got. I don’t want quite as much poke as you have that sits about where my wife’s does with 35’s on her OBX and it’s a bear to keep clean. Did you do any tie rod sleeves? According to fed ex freight I’ll have them tomorrow.

I know the instructions say it, But I didn't have to pull my bumper and winch to install the Max Tire clearance kit. It makes cutting the front body mount on your offhand (left or right) side a little more difficult, but still much easier than pulling everything apart.

I've got a 2.3 OBX with 4.27 Final Drive on K02 37x12.5R17. 3.5 Inch Rough Country lift. Crash Bars removed. No rubbing, plenty of power and I think it rides great. I never drove the stock set-up, I had the dealer install everything before I took delivery. This definitely a "Mall Crawler". I am getting 20MPG which is every mile ever driven not just highway MPG. I will say that the stock third brake light is not tall enough. The Rough Country brake light extension was added. Fuel Rebels 6 are -12 Offset and 34lbs. The K02's are 66lbs. So, I'm at an even 100lbs.

Got mine on today even tho the company forgot to send the lug nuts 🤦🤦. They fit well no rub. I may need to trim the crash bar mounts in back if they run when compressed. I’ll find out this weekend. I may also shorted the step bar by an inch. Not much poke which is what I wanted. I could have went with a little more aggressive tire in the pictures I thought these were close to the bfg A/T KO2 but they are quite a bit tamer. Oh well as long as they get me thru the Michigan trails and sand dunes I’ll be happy. Before and after

You will be more than fine. I have a BB non-sas and running 37x12.5 Ridge Grapplers on 17x8.5 +25 offset on a 2" rough country lift and have no rubbing and no problems. 4" and 0 offset is fine, don't need to do anything special. Take the crash bars out and you'll be good to go.

Edit: The only thing that I would add, as I am doing, is either Fabtech or RPG tie rod kit for beefed up tie rods. Anyone with a bronco should do that as the stock tie rods are skinny garbage, but especially people with 37s. The M190 is smaller but fine to handle the 37s load as long as you aren't stupid with the skinny pedal. I've been running them on trails and the beach just fine even with stock tie rods.
