I said 12 mpg because that is why I didn’t buy a Ram Power Wagon instead of the Bronco. I have a 2.7L BL Sasquatch. I average 16-17 mpg. About the same as my ‘17 Ram 1500 with a Hemi, but a whole lot cooler.

LOL @ whomever expects 20mpg avg. You better be getting a 2DR, Base, 2.3, auto.
I got 19.9 average on my 1700 mile trip back to Virginia from Houston last week. 75% interstate. Combination of flatlands and hills/mountains.

2.3/auto Badlads with Sasquatch. Dealer installed leveling kit, Fuel Blitz with Nitto Ridge Grapplers plus 2 adults and our gear for the trip home.

No complaints here!

Can’t wait to see so many people with unrealistic expectations. This thing could get 4mpgs and I’d be happy.

I drive it however I want and I get 16.6mpgs after 6000 miles.

Don't care, I never check MPG on anything I drive, what's the point?

I had three wranglers.
I averaged high 18s almost 19 in a 2004 4.0 wrangler that’s engine dates back to what, before 1987?

I guess I’m giving the 2.7 too much credit.

it at least better be considerably roomier than a TJ since I haven’t even driven a JK.
I have had 4 Wranglers- 3 with the 4.0, one with the 2.5. My current Wrangler is a 1997, Sport, 4.0L, 5 speed manual. I get around 18-19 and it has 31" tires. All of my Wranglers got this. Pretty good for engine design that's ben around practically forever.

Most of all my other trucks- depending on the year got between 15- 25. The lower end were 90's chevy 1500 and 2500 with 5.7. All the rest- Fords, Toyotas, Nissans, manuals and automatics 80's to current got between 20 and 25. Even my current 2019 Silverado LD 4 X 4 with 5.3 averages 23 (driving with a super light foot, mostly highway steady 55 MPH).

I was hoping for 20 average in the Bronco- much more modern engine and drive train. I guess that's not gong to happen. I am on the fence whether to get my Basesquatch reason MPG and expecting 15 average. If elect to get it, it will not be able to be driven much- unless I get a second job to help pay for the gas alone. My daily work commute, forget it, looking at 450 a month in gas driving the Bronco.

If mpg gallon is your decision point - then don't get squatch. I have a regular 4 door 2.3 auto Black Diamond and I get 19.3 - which is just fine for me.

I’ve had my Bronco since mid’ish Novemeber. Never once looked at my MPG. I know it’s better than my PW but more than likely comparable to my Mustang GT and Expedition EL.

Good thought but it's too late. My Basesquatch is built and in transit.

At the time of the reservation there were no MPG ratings. I went by the F150 ratings with the 2.7, I test drove one actually 2 years ago and the EPA was 20/26 on it and it is a pretty good size truck. I also thought the base 2 door would be the lightest version Bronco and with proper gearing from the factory for the 35" tires it would not fare too bad. I made an incorrect assumption. Even the base Broncos with "smallish" tires and 2.3 yield maybe 20. My Bronco's from the 70's I think did better. They were smaller and lighter.

14 - you know why - I would love to say I am not walking away - but really if they cannot do better than 14 in 2021 - then what else on the build can they not do better on that is substandard.
I am with you but for a different reason, a two door fuel tank, at 14MPG is looking at a realistic range of 200 miles. I have had motorcycles that I had to fuel up that often and it sucked having to fill up every two or three days, I won't do that in a vehicle outside of a long trip ever again.

If you're getting only 14mpg on any Bronco, maybe you outta consider how you're driving? Lol

Since people have been complaining in this thread I went and found my mpg readout on the Bronco. 19mpg lifetime. I hasn't been reset for all 3200 miles.

I am hoping to get 20mpg on highway (eco and cruise at 70) with 4dr BadSas and ideally more than my 96 Chevy with 350 and 33s around town(it gets 15/16mpg). Fingers crossed can get 18city and 20hwy based on principles that it is not a 1990s 350 v8 and the year is 2022. Wish had bigger gas tank too so less fill ups on long trips. Was thinking maybe could chnage to nonsas and put skinnier 34s on for better mpg, but not sure will help given gears and 10speed. Oh well. Wanted a bronco my whole life and even looked at restomoding a scout since back home from overseas, but this is better anyday, assuming my order ever gets pulled for vin. Best, Dave

Left trip 2 going since I took delivery. It rolls after 10000 miles, that's why it only says 67.7.
