Alright, I will pull the file I’m using for the widget display currently, but I’m noting some challenges:

Ford Bronco Multi Function Digital Display by Wagner Tuning IMG_8678

Observations:

the load and boost sensor value widgets topped out when I floored it on the interstate on ramp to see what the max values were. But then they never came back down.

The boost sensor as a horizontal bar does a dance that’s somewhat unpredictable compared to the one in the dash.

none of the temp widgets match the engine or transmission temps in the dash.

the battery voltage here is good, you can watch it changing as you motor along and appears to be more direct than the one on the dash.

The gear sensor is good, but it doesn’t know what to do with P, R, N - will give values like 50, 60, 70. The gear widget, by contrast, is more interesting and displays well leaving those values as “-“ instead of some mapping to a letter. But it also displays “-“ for gears 9 and 10. I haven’t played with the user tables but maybe there’s a way to do lookup values based on input values as a mapping but I’m not sure.

the boost values don’t make a lot of sense to me. It shows a lot of negative values including some large negative values. It topped out at over 200 as you can see. Now I never saw to my recollection the boost psi on the gauge read above 18.x.

and you see two of the ANx sensors never show a value at all.

The image above is intentionally crowded to get as many “does this work and what’s it show” widgets on there as possible.

Boost is likely in Kpa

Shoo, that would project the peak boost at 40psi, about double of what the dash value is, using the simple divide by 7 conversion ballpark.

Ok so there are checkboxes on some of the the widgets I had enabled which were locking it at the maximum values. Resolving that, seems better. Still have some intermittent values going to null on AFR and Boost, and boost still ranging from -170 up to +280, and the temps being a good bit different than I expect.

if my file selection was US/SAE units, I find the KPa for pressure odd, vs PSI, as that’s what the dash display shows, likewise makes me wonder what that temp value is.

I’ll make a few more changes tonight, then see if I can upload the widgets file.

Full atmosphere is usually around 101.325 KPa, so 280 would be 178 KPa of boost (or about 25 psi of boost).

I think we could use some group accumulated documentation on the various sensor values and min/max and average operating values.

the AN2-EGT value seems to bounce +/-3 of 67. Admittedly it’s cold outside but the label and value don’t seem to make sense to me. While the exhaust value is right up there around 1350.

similarly water temp shows well over 300 regularly. Would love for us to crowd gather expected values, safe mins and maxs, and sensor for each of the sensors.

@Gluestick - ive taken a break from that thing. Yeah the values seem off to me and I'm not smart enough to get it to make sense. ha @Caleb@PandaMotorworks - your team able to help with the set up in the app?
