Now this is the most functional and not to complicated design yet. Been drawing up something similar for my 2 door and love this. Do you have a material list handy?My custom built platform. Definitely got the inspiration from another member on here, but securing via the j-hook was my solution.
Also where did you get those panel blankets?

The side cargo protection pieces are from Canvasback. Great company and great products.
No real material list, but it’s basically a couple sheets of plywood, 2x6s, 30 inch piano hinge, boat carpet, and some recessed d-rings from e-trailer. J-hook turnbuckles and eye bolts are from amazon.

or just go with Element extinguishers. small and awesomse; never rattling or turning into a heavy projectile in a crash.

Have you tried one? I've seen way too many examples of people trying to put out a small campfire with it and it not doing anything. One of the videos was a firefighter demoing one and it did not do well then either. So it's put me off from relying on them.

I bought 3 and used one on a bon fire... certainly worked well lol. have one in the truck and one out by my smokers & grills.

You can see to fit everything I wanted under it, it raised the trunk floor up. But I have a lip across it where i can lay another board up against it and it gets rid of the angle from the slope of the seat laying down

to the OP - nice solution - curious - how tall are you? that doesn't seem like it would be enough 'bed' area for an average height guy to lay down (I'm only 5'11, but that still doesn't look big enough for me to lay in)

Good question. I'm half Filipino so I'm only about 5'6", and so I can stretch out full length and still fit no problem. If I needed to I could push the front seats up further to buy some more inches.
